Message	:The coatings on the gears will be just fine. The wear will a nice break-in coating nearest to the teeth. But as far as peeling, it's doubtful. This stuff is pretty industrial. dunno if it is even possible, but I'd be curious if you could see if the coating stays in place by inspecting through the drain plug at your next lube change? My skepticism is not a reflection on Mitch, just on DIY coatings in general.
